Heavy Naptha
Heavy naptha is best known for it’s use as a feedstock for refineries that produce octane enhancing gasoline blendstock. Heavy naptha is also used in aromatics plants for benzene production and in fertilizer manufacturing facilities. Additionally, it is used to produce solvents and also as lantern fuel for camping. Heavy naptha is categorized as either light straight run napthas (LSRN) or heavy straight run napthas (HSRN).
